Jillian experienced so many firsts on our trip to Myrtle Beach but I don't think any of them were as exciting as her first trip to Build-A-Bear! One evening after dinner, we were walking off our meals around Broadway at the Beach and came across the Build-A-Bear Workshop. We knew we had to go in and buy Jillian her first Build-A-Bear Teddy. It was so crowded at Broadway at the Beach that evening that the line to Build-A-Bear was out the door and around the side of the building. But that didn't stop us.

What does Jillian think of her new bear?

I think she likes it!

We decided to name Jillian's bear "Snoozer". It's one of the many nicknames I refer to her as. Jillian is either a snoozer (when she has a good night's sleep), or not a snoozer (when she keeps Mommy up). I love it!
Awww, Jilly <3's Snoozer!
ReplyDeleteI bet she loves her Snoozer!! We made our son a bear when I was pregnant and he loves it now...he named it Abu (I think it was his attempt to say "A bear"). :)
ReplyDeleteCould she be any cuter?! I think not. And Build-A-Bear looks so fun! I've always seen those stores but have never been in one.
ReplyDeleteHow fun!
ReplyDeleteAlso, to answer your question from awhile back, I do the Mommy & Me swim classes at a local pool. Here, they offer them on Tuesdays & Thursdays, and you can sign up for 10:30am, 3:30pm, or 7pm. We haven't been going much lately because none of those times work well with her nap schedule right now, but I try to take her to my parents pool and do the activities with her one-on-one.
I am a new follower to your blog! Your little Jillian is absolutely precious and I look forward to reading more about your sweet little family!

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, she is just so stinkin' cute!!! I love that she loved the bear! Oh and also to answer your question from a while back, we went to the Ft. Wayne Zoo in Indiana. We live in Defiance so generally we would go to the Toledo Zoo but I had heard the Ft. Wayne one had more things for smaller children to do. Have you went yet?
