Happy Thursday friends! I hope you are all having a great week. I wanted to share with all of you this quick and easy side dish I made on Easter Sunday...Green Beans Almondine. I had so many of you ask about it since sharing it on my instastories, I thought I would create a blog post for easy reference. I have always loved ordering Green Beans Almondine as a side dish when dining out, however, since we are not able to eat out during these uncertain times, I thought I would try to make it at home. It turned out so good and surprisingly so easy! This recipe is also Keto and Faster Way to Fat Loss friendly which is a bonus.
- 1 bag of Steamfresh green beans
- 1/4 Cup Chopped Onion
- 2 tablespoons sliced almonds
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- pinch of minced garlic
- salt and pepper to taste
How to Make It:
Pop the bag of frozen green beans into the microwave for six minutes. While the green beans are cooking, saute the onions in olive oil until lightly caramelized. Once the onions are transparent, add the sliced almonds and minced garlic. Continue to sautée both the onion and almonds together for a few more minutes. Stir in your bag of cooked green beans. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Enjoy!
